So guys, any of you finished the mod completely?
And if not, what faction/factions did you finish playing with?
Tell us a little about your story from the campaign

I for one started my very first campaign as a byzantine lord, and just when i conquered half of the balkans i got bored and decided to start over, but this time solo. And now im currently playing as a king to my newly founded kingdom "Kievskaia rusi" located, for starters,in the baltics

I started with Kingdom of Hungary, and then joined the Crusader states. I want to run my own kingdom with Jerusalem as it's capital. (Dunno, why Jerusalem... really ) As a Hungarian, the sensation of joining to Kingdom of Hungary and meet with the lords and IV whom I only knew about the history books, It's hard to put into words... Also King IV looks like my favorite .NET/IT teacher  (Really, the resemblance is frightening... And I read his dialogues with my teacher's voice unconsciously)

I once began as a footsoldier in the Latin Empire. Once it got inevitably conquered and destroyed ( I was already a knight with my own party by then but with no lands, playing as a mercenary) I reformed it as my own kingdom, capturing Larissa and finally, with huge efforts, Athene.. It was great fun.

After that, I played a Hospitaller ... just went around Holy Lands helping Crusaders, really..

Most of the time I had a campaign going, through all this.. It was about my main character, so to speak. It is called Benedetto Caetani. I researched his family, learned they had a wave on yellow field as their banner before they married into an Imperial clan, so to speak. So I use the blue banner with the white wave, I started as a vassal of the Kingdom of Sicily but switched to Papal State as soon as that was added. Ever since the first beta was released, I had him marry, conquer a castle in north Africa, a small village in the holy lands, something in the Balkans, I think... I only know that the last save I had with him, it took me some ten minutes to get from the first fief to the last. It is a very enjoyable campaign and with the coming release of the new build I will probably try to recreate it once more

I started off as a commoner, and after doing a few quests in England, began to go on trading ventures. My travels eventually took me to the Holy Land, where I experienced a new sense of religious fervour, and joined the Crusade. Aside from the spiritual benefits of helping reclaim the land of Christ, I also gained renown. Eventually, I returned to Europe, after earning a fair bit of money through the ransom of several Mamluk lords.

In Europe, I travelled from town to town, fighting in tournaments and setting up enterprises. After a couple of months, I was quite wealthy and began to catch the attention of nobles around the continent. I decided to return to England, and swore fealty to King Henry III.

Upon my return, England was in a dire situation. It had been occupied with a war against the Irish when both the Norwegians and French invaded. Fortunately, the wars were short lived, and peace was made with both kingdoms, just as a French army was poised to conquer Chester.

Without the threat of invasion from the North and the South, the kingdom was able to turn its attention back to Ireland. I aided in the defeat of several Irish lords, and the siege of Ireland's final stronghold, Sligo. With the English firmly in control of Ireland, peace returned to the island. This was welcome news for me, as I had been granted lordship of an Irish village.

The kingdom was now at peace, so I turned my attention away from matters of war and death, and focused instead on love. I courted the bold daughter of William de Valence, and won his approval to marry her. Unfortunately, the wedding had to be postponed, as the border tensions with the Scots led to a new war.

So, I'm currently fighting against the Scots. Most of my attention has been focused on keeping their forces out of England.  I also managed to rescue the king when he was attacked by several Scottish lords, and won his favour. I don't know where matters will go from here. I hope that peace will come soon with the Scots, so the kingdom's attention can be turned towards France. I dream of holding land in Normandy, and becoming more than the petty lord of a farflung corner of Ireland.

Hope this wasn't too long.

I began life as a well to do young man in Novgorod, and even apprenticed to a respectable smith, but in my youth I turned to thievery. Once I reached my early 20s however, I was arrested and forced into military service. However, I managed to turn this to my favour, earning equipment, skills, honour, and relation with many lords over my time as a soldier. Once I had advanced through the ranks and experienced the joy of my own command, I withdrew from service in order to start a mercenary company. I traveled south to serve the Byzantine empire, earning further riches and renown, capturing cities, and building a hardened company of men. Once the wars of the Byzantine empire had ended, I returned to my homeland, and served for a time against the impossibly powerful armies of the swedes and Teutonic Order. Once these wars ended, I disbanded my party and traveled the land with a few close companions winning fame in tournaments. I finally returned to Alexander Nevsky, and asked to join his kingdom as a vassal, a proposition he gladly accepted. I am now the lord of Bezek, a small village far from the ravages of war, and am in the process of amassing the funds to build myself a castle.

After being a sellsowrd for several weeks, I had finally earned enough gold to buy myself some decent armor and several enterprises. I then swore an oath to God, that I would reclaim the Holy Land from the Heathen Infidels (//Crusaders were being owned//). After a few months, our fearless armies swept over their heretic forces, thaking Jersualum, Damscus, and a few other minor towns and castles. At this point I returned to my native England, only to find my corrupt half cousin ruining the nation. My homeland was at war with not only Scotland, Norway, Wales, but also now-super power France. I immediatly desposed of my cousin, establishing my self as King in London and starting the English Civil War.

Well, I started like everyone, chosing my skils, chosing my banner, creating my character, chosing my Kingdom...
In an early morning I waked up in the Tavern of Lisboa in the Kingdom of Portugal and whent to the streets to explore the surroudings. But then I have been confronted with a bandit. I Kiked his ass with a head shot ( well I should say: I kiked his head...). Then a merchant apeared from nowhere and invited me to stay at his house. There he asked me to recruit some volunteers to my party from the surrounding villages, and he gave me 100 Denars  for my costs.First I visited Lisboa and then I leave to finnish my task.
I recruited 10 volunteers spending what the merchant gave me and then I returned to him. he gave me the reward and also another task (damm it!) but he gave me good Denars (yeah!) for killing bandits.                                                                                            ...*KILLING*...
I returded and he asked me to to kill some kidnapers, find where is his brother and save him (damm, why don't he saves him instead of me ) but anyway, of we go...                                                              *( To be continued ( I don't have time now ) )*

Pagan meat feeds the machine that is the Teutonic Order, every day villages are raided, pagan lords are brought to their knees, and the power of the Order grows. Swedish and Danish interests also lie in Lithuanian lands, and fighting alongside those armies has been a cold dose of what's waiting when pagan blood dries up.. Those men aren't pushovers.
The landgrab has left the Lithuanians with less than half of their territory, standing armies consist of poor, weak pagan boys - easy work, and as January 1258 settles in, so do my intentions.

Don't worry, you will find a worthy challenge once your greedy armies reach the holy land of the patriarch in Novgorod!

In truth
Those pagans werent that easy to defeat
and of course they were part of the host with Poles who crushed Teutonic at Grunwald 1410
but IT'S ur game so enjoy ur victories

ps.
Need to think about my story
for fun just to exercise my english

My story begins in Krakow where I joined the ranks of Regnum Poloniae under High Duke Boleslaw V the Chaste.
In exchange for my sword I received small village near Gniezno Castle called Ostrowiec.
When I arrived to my fief I saw few wooden build houses and some peasants working  fields ,
I knew straight away that if I want to get some money out of it . there is a need to put these skivers under strict rule and not saving them a whip if need be
Elder of the village got his orders and within a 2 months I got results I wanted and desireable income.
The time have come to build a castle bcoz there is always a threat of war.
Money is  hard thing to come across and many times I needed to deal with these filthy merchants and get involved in their dirty scheming.
Once I got decent amount , enough to buy armor and arm worth of a noble
I started to earn more honesty by raiding foreign villages.
Those raids not gone unnoticed and Teutonic Order went to war with us.
High Duke been mad at me, so I started to look for solution to this crisis.
The pox ridden  Merchant guild master of Poznan who I despise especially offered solution by silencing or convince to stop fighting 2 most warlike lords on both sides.
Sir Msciwoj agreed to support peace eventually after I offered him certain sum.
but  Konrad Welzo did not even  talk to me but charged with the lance lowered.
After few hours of fierce fighting he yield
I chained him and threw to the brand new castle dungeon never occupied before
The peace agreement was signed
and we all could get back to our  normal living
Peasants to their fields, Lords to their castles  and me to my job - pillaging
Why not for 12 days there is a treaty so I'm quite safe.
Life is sweet  when u are Lord
Money started flowing and I was completely satisfied
And disaster happend, deluge from the north . Danes came in force to my very doorstep.
This tragic event I described in separate topic called "Siege 900 Danes vs 300 Poles ..."
Afterwards I resolved to be prepared  and never again let myself to be surprised like that.

ps.
Well enough
this story is on till new update

Ok, now I have time to continue...

well, I kild 3/4 and the other one I left him to tell me where was the merchant's brother.
Then I find the kidnapers lair and went to it. There I made two head shots  and my army (ten guys) finished the other ones.
Then I returned to the merchant and he gave me good dirty money but I acepted (of course) then he told me that he would leave the town in a short time. after that I tried to save my progress but I get a menssage telling me that the game had an error    and it didn't save

The end!

Bro Story Cool
As my Teutonic God Creation crumbles to ruin due to mental harassment from mechanical agendas, Red_Knight's soul embodies the earth yet again, till one day he rise forth in Era one o' two.

In my current game, I joined the Crusader States (they aren't named that here, but that is what I've come to call them since the Medieval 2 Stainless Steel mod.) It is actually pretty easy thus far. We've taken over two Egyptian cities and one of their castles. And we've won every major battle against Egypt. Even battles where it is mostly even, we just own them. It helps the Mongolians...of all people...really like us and have joined in a couple times with their massive army. But mostly, it is just us, the Crusaders, and we still win. Granted, if Mongolians betray us...we are screwed. But as of now, they dislike Egypt as much as we do.

However, it may be short lived if the next patch isn't compatible with saves. And who knows what would happen in a new game. I think it might be all random a bit, of who does good or not. That is how it usually worked in Total War anyway, even though it is an entirely different genre.

But yeah, as of my current game...Egypt hasn't won one major battle. Not a single one. They have won some small skirmishes, but we definitely have the upper hand.
