Animations

Okay I downloaded native expansion and love it, but it has native animations which is sort of bad after playing eagle+ radiant cross mod which has extra slash animations.
I downloaded a animations mod pack and it looked really good but it didn't have a animation for the spear brace, so I need to know how I could put in some animations without messing it all up.
I also wanted to replace some other animations like the stab one, you hold your sword off to the side instead of the normal pointing, which sucks if your trying to aim on horseback.

So is there a way I can take animations from one mod and put it into another?  Or is that looked down upon?

Use Beyond Compare demo or something like that, to compare the two .txt files and try to add the one you downloaded with native expansion's one, to only add the slash animations and not delete native expansion's ones.

I was just about to post a topic on logging the animations myself.

I hear that there are a few that aren't used in native, and some (like some horseback animations) that are not listed.  For example, someone back a few weeks ago wanted to use the horseback cheer animation.  It's not listed in the module_animation.py, but you see men do it in game.

Well for me, I'm trying to use the lance thrust on horseback, but that is not listed either.  So I did some math and found that with the slash animations, the horse back animation is 1300 frames after the on-foot animation slash animations.  But the lance thrust is not the same...  I have am working back, but it's taking a while.

Is there anyway to see the animation listing?  Has it been posted before?  Is there any way to view the animations?  The BRF editor won't do it...
