It seems that every time troops ingame are wounded and their morale broken, they rout at full speed. Now I was thinking, wouldn't it be possible to make it so that inflicting anything between a medium to a major wound (or a fatal wound) could cause the enemy to stumble and fall over and stay on the ground, but still remain alive? They could groan and writhe in pain. But unless they were attempting to crawl/limp away, they'd stay among the dead where they'd be incapacitated. (Maybe you'd even be able to finish them off once they're down, if you're entirely honorless?)
It would really make the battlefield come alive (pun intended). As I see it, it would need new animation, scripting and gurgling/groaning from the wounded. It sounds like handful, but if any mod could get away with something like this, it would be Brytenwalda. Keep in mind though, it's more of an idea than an actual suggestion. I just felt like I'd like to hear how everyone else would feel about this.
I DO think that it would be very much in tune with the gritty, war-torn reality of the mods setting, however. Seeing the wounded and dying remains of an enemy army suffering while desperately trying to crawl away would probably delight even the coldest of warlord hearts
