Cymro's mother with her head popping out of some foam? Yep, crap mother jokes the height of humour and maturity.

uncreative 说:
The "face" looked strangely humanoid, some eyesocket like things there despite the eyes being inside the body...
Apparently they are similar too nostrils.

Looks a tad bit fake to me even in the video.
Maybe because it's just so out of this world and hard to believe...

This is great. Another set of pictures to add to my collection.

I could go on for hours about weird deep-sea creatures. Batfish and frogfish, siphonophores and stoplight loosejaws. Fascinating stuff.
Check out the goblin shark.

And let's not forget the mantis shrimp:

Read about their eyes too.

Wiki 说:
Some species have at least 16 different photoreceptor types, which are divided into four classes (their spectral sensitivity is further tuned by colour filters in the retinas), 12 of them for colour analysis in the different wavelengths (including four which are sensitive to ultraviolet light) and four of them for analysing polarised light. By comparison, humans have only four visual pigments. The visual information leaving the retina seems to be processed into numerous parallel data streams leading into the central nervous system, greatly reducing the analytical requirements at higher levels.

I wonder what it would be like to see through their eyes. That's pretty amazing.
