Should we make a new TEATRC Spin-off about The Land of Arkanay?
I have an Idea about new TEATRC Spin-off set in Arkanay during the year 1530.
This is how it goes.

The Eagle and the Radiant Cross - Arkanian Pride

Factions

Kingdom of Annam (Blue)
Angkorian Kingdom of Phnom (Brown)
Rattana Northern March of Lanna (Purple)

Nothing wrong with a spin-off, I guess, but this is a huge project, it's a total conversion. Unless you have amazing modding skills, this won't be done in our lifetime. All the help you can get from us is some ideas, suggestions and perhaps minor modeling stuff. Do you happen to know how to mod?

I will study how to code the module.

Perhaps in the first version there is an eight factions.
About items, i can use an item in TEATRC. Since an items in Arkanay isn't different in Calradia.

8 Factions in first version are
- Rattanakorn (With Northern Marches and Annexed Phnom)
- Hongshawadee
- Malaska
- Sindthu (With Annexed Satharoum)
- Lan Xang
- Annam
- Rakhines
- Shan

On the map there is Khergits and Lion Throne, will my beloved Khergit s finally be playable in TEATRC?

Maybe (I've to take Rakhines and Kharlens out).

The khergits will be playable again in Nikephoros' next official version, ya know.

Patience isn't given equally to all, you know  :cry:

where did you get the idea for all the factions?  I can tell that one is Sind, one malaysia, and I think a Rajput one. Were they in the lore and I am not aware of it?

toonknight recently came up with completely new lore. A few pages back in the lore thread you can find it, all with more pictures from that movie. Was kinda weird at first, there isn't anybody who can decide whether it's "canon" lore or not, but it didn't conflict with anything else in the lore + toonknight is an eatrc old-timer so everyone was ok with his universe expansion.

This is a references of the ideas.

Arkanay = South-East Asia and India during 16th-17th Century.

Rattanakorn = 16th century Kingdom of Siam.
Hongshawadee = 16th century Burmese Empire.
Ranayan States of Sindthu = 16th century Indian states (Ranayan = King Asoke the Great's Kingdom)
Malaska = 16th century Malaysian

Lan Xang = Laos
Shan = Shan State
Annam = Vietnam
Phnom = Cambodia
Rakhine = Arakan
Sarathoum = Nepal

I'm afraid the Lion Throne cannot enter the fray. In my opinion. Lets say the border between the lion throne continent and that of the Arkanian continent is divided by a huge swathe of jungle to which no expedition has ever survived to. This massive jungle is also under the Khergit lands just below the great deserts that embrace it.

Yes, I made this up. But only to stop the Lion Throne from joining in, because the focus of the LT is at the north, they have conquered the south as well as the lands to the east and west. If the pope had known that there was more land to the west then he might have continued further on, instead of returning back home to become a "god". Calradia is a different case entirely, the pope dismissed it as ruins, believing its all filled by barbarians after the fall of the great ellisian empire. So he just sends a small expedition to it.

The expansion of the LT started out south, then west then east. But they stopped at the great jungle. Then finally north.

So the only EATRC factions we'll see are the Laurian Colonials and Halmarian merchantmen

Looking at the map, might I suggest you expand Khergit territory to touch further the red region? This'll make them look like china, for they did assimilate the Long Gao, right?

These are just my suggestions, as well as usual naysmithing.
Also, good luck trying to start this up, another bastard son for EATRC.

Imagine C5 gathering all of this.. Man....

Sarathoum was a mountainous region based on Nepal. But it had a Khergit presence there as an Outlaw.

You could give the Arkanian region some credit in C4 with the Indian influence on some Khergit troops, or have a purely Mughal wandering party, like "Akbars Elephants" or something.
