How many of you ever played EU3?

Well, i'm sure you really enjoyed it!

My suggestion is to implement a system that allows destroyed factions to arise again (in their /one of their) native town/castles

This could happen is some circumstances, like when another faction conquers that castle/town, deciding not to take it, but to "free" the other state as an allied. Or, when rebels rise in order to rebuild their old kingdom...

It would be awesome (and would also bring more longevity and realism to the game).

I've suggested this also in the brytenwalda forum

I think this should be posted in Suggestions..

But I think this is a nice idea though. But as example, If the Swadians are defeated they would rise up again like Swadian Rebels in Praven or something.

a good idea but you must be careful not to allow it to turn into the original Medieval Total War where a destroyed faction could reappear an apparently limitless amount of times. After all there really can't be THAT many long lost princes running around. Maybe it could be tied into the clamaints system, whereby after say Swadia under King Harleus was destroyed, Lady Isolla and some of the vassals would seize a new town or castle and proclaim a new Kingdom of Swadia, or something
