Hmmm....I hope your not ragging on the United States. If it wasn't for the USA, all of Europe would be speaking German right now and Asia would be speaking Japanese. Nothing wrong with a president that has the BALLS to do what is right. A few other countrys has what it takes, lots of others squat to piss. For years every time some little flea bitten country gets in a bind they would call on the US and Britain and their allies to come bail them out or feed them because they are too worthless to feed themselves.
You may think it's fine to let these Islamic buttheads run around killing innocents left and right. They are not even man enough to stand and fight, but instead hide and do their killing with car bombs and the like.
Nothing but cowards hiding behind religion.

Looks like he was ragging on George Bush. Good for him. And uh, world war 2 isnt an excuse for the united states to do whatever it wants until the end of time.

Most americans are pretty critical of Bush as well seeing as his poll numbers are in the 30% range. Many more americans disapprove of him than approve. Most americans think hes dishonest as well.

I disapprove you for sounding like a smart version of an american general. But I approve you for proving that religion is a weakness to the human race, and a temporary strength.
 
Hey, I'm old and spent 20 years of my life in the Army..hard to break habits born over that length of time. Regardless of public opinion, I still believe in my country and I'm not sorry for it. Even if I disaprove of some of the actions of my president..he is still that. Sorry to rant like this but I'm just tired of peopleragging on my country when it has done so much for the world at large..good and bad.
But back to the topic.....no guns, gunpowder, rockets,or flares please. Game is fine like it is.
And the 173D is a Airborne Brigade I served with 38 years ago.
 
yes, if the CIA hadn't given Suharto those lists of Communists, he could never have created the Indonesian Holocaust with his actions to purge Indonesia of communists.

thank you America for removing the Evil communist sukarno and replacing him with suharto who made Indonesia the most corrupt nation in the world.

Congratulations, you're brainwashed. As for World War II, that was way back when the United States wasn't a cultural and political eyesore, and when our presidents weren't fools with the rhetoric of a six year old. Plus if it had just been the US in WW2, we would have been obliterated. Lets not forget out friends the Russians and the English, the latter of which held out valiently against a massively superior military. Our tanks (And our hardware in general save for our planes.) were like tin cans compared to German armor and technology plus the Germans were on the verge of having jets which would have given them a beautiful edge. That war was won by a combination of efforts by all the nations involved, not just us. Anyone who says "Well, the United States is what won that war!" Is a blind uber-patriotic dog.

I want to believe in my country the way it is now, but I can't. I simply can't.
 
Is it true that US textbooks say that they "won" the war of 1812? I'm just wondering, as nobody won that war. No territory changed hands, the US lost several armies to battle/surrender and the Canadians lost farms and towns and a fleet and army. I don't hold this war against the US, don't worry. Also just to make my position clear, I think that some of the people in the US gov't and media/ big buisness etc are idiots. But not America in general.

Back ontopic: I would still like to have small explosions in the game, though maybe it could be a mod.
 
While we're still on the topic of 'america sux', i might as well chip in.

Sometimes, america behaves in a way that is comparable to someone giving you a $50 dollar bank note, then kicking you in the face. When you ask 'what the hell did you do that for?' They retort with 'I gave you $50 dollars. If it wasn't for me, you'd be 50 dollars poorer'.
It seems that their past deeds give them right to misbehave now.

America has contributed alot to humankind, If it didn't exist, a large part of pop culture and our way of life wouldn't exist. English would just be another european language, and not the international standard language we have now. It just so happens that Americ is currently being ruled by an evolutional throwback.
 
My textbook said we won the war of 1812, but my history teacher promptly corrected it and said it was more of stalemate.

And as a general rule, Americans are idiots. I'll be first to admit that, my friend dated a girl (Who was eighteen years old at the time.) who honest to God thought our capital was in Washington state, not the District of Columbia, I wanted to cry. Also, some people honestly believe that the way we display Hawaii and Alaska on the map (Nearer the states in a small black box.) is their actual geographical location on the globe. That, and we suck at our own language, there is something fundementally wrong with that fact that most Europeans who aren't English can speak and write the language more eloquently and correctly than an American, who only knows English.

As for Europe, besides the oddball raver culture some of it has taken on and modern France, I love Europe, especially Ireland, Scotland and England. All of my favorite authors are from England or the British Isles and Ireland is absolutely beautiful.

Wow, thats pretty dense. But we're talking the capital of a nation you've lived in for eighteen years, it's really sad when a person doesn't know the location of their own capital city.

I fell in love with a girl who was directly decended from Belgian immigrants, and she is smart as a whip. Generally, you can't catagorize an entire nation as idiots though, there are always exceptions to the rule either way.
 
yeah, exceptions live in every country.

that's why I quit calling all american idiots just because the president is exceptionally stupid.

Hahaha, awesome. Na, but I think it reflects my people that we actually elected him, you know? He is the represenative of our people to the world and he is tool which we installed to improve the country. Granted, Kerry wasn't a better choice, everyone I thought would make a good president got knocked out of the running before the final election.
 
I read somewhere, that in the bible belt, priests where preaching that it would be a sin to vote against bush.

is that true?
