am I missing something?

none and i mean none for the top tier upgrades are showing up for my troop no paladin no ivory archers nothing. is there something i am missing? I know if i had a crap loads of paladins and ivory archers it would make capturing Warcheg a whole lot easier. (edit:Yes i have followed the install instructions and even reinstalled several times with new game starts and i cant upgrade my troops to them but i do find them in other kingdoms troops so they are in the game it just wont let me freaking have them.)

dont know if you know that paladins and ivory are exclusive units of each kingdom u must have a town and the expecific building to recruit those units

paladins -> swadia
ivory units -> veagirs

You now have to have that factions special building to recruit the top tier units.  Cathedral for Swadia and Ivory Temple for the Vaegir.

If you capture a capital its gonna already have one, but otherwise it will take 50 days to build in one of that factions cities once you have taken control.

oh ok that explains it thanks. hmm well i have almost wasted all of the nords all that is left is sargoth i have warcheg and thir. I tried to go to war against the khergits but i found out that there castles are really hard to siege there are so many archers none of my men even made into the castle grounds.

i weent with 100 Mercenaries + me to a Khergit caslt and i won lol
Casualities were
Mercenaries -  19 Wounded 3 Killed

Khergits
Like 90 killed and 30 wounded ( no lords )
