Resolved Am I barren or is he impotent? My kingdom needs an heir!

Playing as a female character and I've been married for a while but no babies. Is this part of the game broken? I'm starting to get old and the kingdom needs an heir!

This part is to be blunt "imo not working ideally"..

I have this issue more often than not.
My own fix is to get married and make babies, then rescue the brother - then I dont have this issue.
When I do the more normal route, rescue brother, then get married.. I'll go years and nada.

I wish they would add in like Viking Conquest an option to "romance" your partner, so it could "force" it.(and not wait for a rng chance or as it happends for alot of us gets bugged).

If its an old save it could still be bugged, it was in 1.5.4. In a fresh 1.5.5 I've now had two children waiting in town with my spouse in my party (first one was before getting my brother released)

For me I did fresh start in 1.55 and the issue still persist.
Unless I do the loophole/personal fix I said - where I rescue brother after.
I dont know when it started tbh, but its been "plagueing" my games since each patch.
I always start with a totally new start at each patch.
I never use mods(cause I think that defeats the purpose in EA for my taste(once its full retail I'll mod the snot out of it)

I can replicate the error 100% of the time on my end.

So what I figured is that I am just about to start a total new fresh game again, but I had previous uninstalled the game, and even delete the files that the uninstall dont do(like config and save games etc manually).
Then I got it again.
We'll see how it goes.
I'll try the "normal approach" rescue brother then get wife.
Just for the record I always marry Zlatka, so its the same wife(and she do get pregnant when I do the fix).

Well so I did some testing after the full uninstall(deleting files manually etc).

First I did the get wife then save brother, got her pregnant 1st day we waited in town.
I then reloaded a save prior to theese events, now I rescued the brother, I didnt pick him up in my party.
I then went to propose to the future wife, she accepted(after a few save-scumming) talked to her clanleader, got married.
Picked her up in my party, waited in town.. 2 days nothing.
Moved to next town, waited 2 days nothing.
Left her in the settlement and waited, next day I got the message she is pregnant.

So what is my take on this?
So its not the brother in the menu most likely, but some old rotten code leftover I had in a folder(note I've never touched nothing of those files myself).
Although my proposed fix with rescue brother til after you got wife pregnant worked as a fix for my plays.

I had verified files on steam(several times). never got anything reported as corrupted.

So ideally, tell ppl who get this issue to just delete all files, and reinstall the game fully again perhaps.

Hello @Teknoviking , are you experiencing the issue on an old save game? If so, can you please try to reproduce the issue on a new campaign and let me know of the result.

Tried to get preggers again but still the same. I'm trying on a third game but I don't have much faith. I guess my seed is a dud. Or maybe my wife is barren? Perhaps I should Henry the 8th her?

Tried it today fresh playthrough 1.5.5 my wife couldnt get pregnant tried for months so i let her in settlement still nada then i left both my wife and my brother in settlement waited 1 day and done.
