For now there is only one siege icon on map whether the attacking army is on siege phase or assault stage. Before version 1.6.0 it was possible for the player to see siege assaults all over the map with a mouse pointer tooltype showing ongoing battle with soldiers number in red. Now the only way to know if the siege battle started or not is repetitive right clicks on sieged city to see if the garrison drop.
Would it be possible to add a different siege assault icon? Or simply mark the same icon on red when the assault begin?
By the way, the bug with the siege icon remaining after the siege is finished is still ongoing for months. We can't send a save file because the remaining icon disappear after reload.
