I would very much like to be able to ally myself with other kingdoms without actually joining them, as an example I have norten Empire right at the borders of my kingdom and they only have one town left wich I would like to help and protect because it was norten Empire that helped me get this far from the start.
Enabling allies for the AI would also help with various kingdom (khuzait) stompings, if they also implented that the most powerfull kingdoms got some kind of penalty making it less likely for other kingdoms to ally with them as the most powerfull kingdom with an weaker ally will inevitably eat upp the weaker later on but two equally weak kingdoms can get alot out of an alliance.
What do you guys think? Is this a good idea? Is it maybe way to complicated to implement into the game?
