All troop formations counting as infantry

Whenever I select a troop formation to give them an order, my character always shouts "Infantry" or something along those lines. Doesn't matter if it's archers, cavalry, horse archers or anything else, it's always "Infantry" and I see why. When I hold down "Alt" to view formations on the battlefield, they are all infantry symbols. And this is only a problem for my party. Enemy parties and allied parties show the correct symbols. Is this just something wrong with the 1.5.9 release or is it just on my end?

I have this issue on 1.6 so its not on your end

Do you have companions as captains? It used to be because it would recognize them as infantry regardless of what group they were leading. I haven't had the issue in 1.6 though.

I updated to the beta branch 1.5.10 and it seems to be fixed. Try selecting the archer unit with the most troops in your army in your party screen and switch then out of the archer formation, then switch them back. Then do the same with the next troop type until you're satisfied.
