Well, as you can see there are quite a few lotr mods being made, maybe too many on the same thing, so I say that some of the smaller ones band together to make one mod (therefore making it better and faster) which would be alot cooler

Why don't you PM the suggestion to all the different team leaders? You never know, you might get the ball rolling.

As far as I know there are 4 (besides TLD), Ak Ela (Dead I think) LOTR Battle for Calradia (Multiplayer only) Blood in the West (SP/MP) and Heroes of Middle Earth (1.011) As far as I can see, only the two Warband ones could really join up.

However, to the best of my knowledge, we are the only Warband mod for single player that is based mainly on the books, the other ones all seem to be film based!

Modding is a hobby.
Any modder is free to help any mod, give his work to any mod, etc.
Had there been interest for greater cooperation it would have already occured (and in some cases has occured!).
