- It would be really nice to see built buildings actually show up in the villages i own.
- Make the villages a little bigger and more lifelike, also towns too.
- It would be really really nice if a small number of random tiny settlements would apear on the map and the player would be able to convert them to villages.
- Add more quest variety. It becomes really dull after a while
- As for multiplayer, it would be cool if other players would be able to join in my single player game , kinda like fable 2 did it(never played it but the feature sounded really interesting)

So all in all, you can add other varied activities except for fighting

I really agree that your village should visibly change, as you invest in upgrading it. I was really frustrated when I spent my money on a mill, watchtower ( I expected they would make my village bigger and appear in the village) didn't show up. I haven't played the custom settlements mod yet, but it sounds like exactly like what I want. I would enjoy it much more in native though, it would really upgrade the games gameplay experience. I would also ask for more active villages, and bigger towns. Also everyday city life sights should be added- vendors selling wares (you hear bartering, yelling) dogs running around, beggars ask for money, if you give you gain honor/ charisma. I always find the towns feeling like villages and the villages feeling like one family farms. Basically, bigger, customizable, more noisy/ active settlements is what I want.

I do agree that villages and towns should become even more life-like, (in 0.808, towns only have 4 frozen guards and 2 merchants, while villages have.. well, they didn't even exist..) but I think most villages are good enough. I mean, Calradia does seem like a pretty low-populated place, as most war parties are just around 100 people.

As for the towns, I think it's just too much work for nothing. First of all I barely ever take a walk around the streets, (the only reason why I would do that is going to to guild master) so making it a whole lot bigger isn't really that important. You should note too that the town is much bigger than what you can explore, with the edges simply blocked by an object, meaning that there IS life on the other side.

I totally agree with the rest, though.

I agree with all of this but the little villages becoming towns. Eventually their would be way too many busy cities and towns it would be a little ridiculous. I really think so more townspeople models and combination of clothes would go a long way too. And has anyone else noticed the lack of black people in most villages and towns?

Except for a handful in the south who came from the Levant, there were no black people in Europe during the High Middle Ages.
