It turns out that after trying to start a new game it deleted all of my old saves. I tried to play some warband after the frustration of this game and all of those saves are gone too. I don't know what's going on with these games but I wish I would have waited to buy it. What a disappointment.

I know it can be frustrating when you play a game that is currently in development with a ton of bugs and everything but something I do is I take my native saves in the document and I place them in another folder with a name like ex:. Lughaidh Part 4 (Before purchasing a shop) or if you have to perform an important quest or make a big decision take all your saves and make a folder to put on your desktop.

So I figured out that my save files were still on the cloud, but (I'm assuming) the update basically made a new folder. I got it working by copying those files back where the new saves I made were and it worked. I feel dumb lol. It worked on both warband and bannerlord. I hope this helps some other people that are dumb like me. Below is the link that told me what was happening.
