Andriy Danylko is a guy. He was a comedian in the 90s and some friends suggested he dress up like a woman so he did. He had his own show back then, later he decided to become a singer.
His home town is ~100km from mine.

I think Ani Lorak was better than Ruslana at Eurovision.

Oh it was a joke... okay good.  I was about to lose more faith in humanity, seeing someone else dress as Lady Gaga does (she does it as not a joke) will do that to you.

Never heard of Ani Lorak but we Americans hardly hear of any foreign singers.  In fact I only heard of Ruslana from GTA4.  Didn't even know there was a Eurovision till I became curious and looked her up.

I've seen Ruslana perform in Dauphin, Canada. 


Though I rather stick to North American Popular Music but even then I don't listen to that often.  Only thing Ukrainian I ever listen to are folk songs (i.e. V. Izhytskyy) and only when playing as the Cossacks in Europa Univeralis and with Fire and Sword.
