Peloponesian War is at this time , but its demo.
It doesnt include Macedonian State but it includes other Greek States so its almost the same...awesome.
p.s Dont EVEN try to say that Macedonia isnt Greek

Macedonia isn't Greek.
Peleponesian War is very fun, though. Try it out. Even if it is a demo.

Well i mean all time long ....Although here isnt the place to conversate about these topics , we ought to use the true statements , so when someone asks for a mod with Alexander the Greek , he asks for an Ancient Greece mod with all the Greek States plus the "enemies" of them (Illyria,Dacia, Persia , India, Egypt etc)eragoen said:

The Peloponnesian War occurred around 450 BC. Alexander became King of Macedon in 336 BC, which is when he began his conquests. Legions Mod starts in 268 BC. They are not the same time period.
And Macedon was considered to be a barbarian state by the Hellenic Greeks, not part of Greece. It wasn't until after Philip came through that the Hellenes started to consider Macedonians as proper Greeks.
If you want combat in the Macedonian style, Legions is currently your only option.

But the truth is that they were a greek tribe , (Dories) who started from Argos , as the rest Greeks.
The bad truth is that they did have many "mixes" with other tribes of the north so its more complicated.
But since Alexander and Philip considered themselves Greeks , we have to agree with them
On the MOD now , it would really be a great idea.
Mod should have Macedonian State and definitely the correct map (Greece - Balkans -Minor Asia -Persia borders of India) and the factions (&states) :
Athens
Theva (Thebes)
Illyrians
Thrace (hellenised tribe )
Persians
Egypt (little forces cause Egyptians didnt fight Alexander , they thought him a savior)
India
So you start as Alexander (or w/e u want) having already Pella as capital and 1-2 castles in Macedonia region with Macedonian Phalanx (with Sarissa) , then u have to conquer all Greece to be able to recruit more types of soldiers (e.g archers , spearmen ,swordmen , Elean Cavalry ) ---modder must make the game so when u conquer both all Greece then u "unlock" these troops"------ and then u go forward for Persian Empire....I think this would be the best mod ever!!!
Definetely companions as Parmenion , Kleitos etc (real names ofc)
