I keep trying to assault other castles to increase our territory, but there are no notifications for when my vassal's territory is under attack. When my own lands are being attacked, you get a small banner alert, but I dont think that is enough. It should be a pop up like the war declarations on the side of the screen that you have to dismiss. In addition, you should be alerted when vassal's lands are under siege.
However, I think it would be better if there was just actual ways to defend. Enemy armies keep getting spammed on me, and I'm defeating army after army. Ones I miss just go past my more well defended castles on my borders, and straight for interior ones that aren't as well defended. Even then, a large army can just take out whatever they want. There should be better ways to defend castles/towns, and there should be alerts, and you should be able to assign the AI to defend better/scout for you.
