Alaric Von Brouhaha Besieged my town..........

Is something wrong? Alaric von Brouhaha Besieged my town Marleons.................... He chased one of my vassels in to marleons and then attacked. Dude, I'm luckey that I close to Marleons to see because it never said "Marleons is besieged by Alaric Von Brouhaha of Peasant Rebels (I actually do not know what he is but he does say, "We are here to take back the land for the people!")...........

That sounds like a bug since they aren't supposed to be able to do that, though personally I wish they would.

he sets up a town full of peasant warriors ruling over nobles forced into servitude lol. probably intent on forming a new kingdom under the rabble army banner.

You´re sure he´s actually sieging the castle and didn´t catch that lord just outside the city? Means you´re fighting a regular siege defense if you join the battle?

Apart from that it reminds me of the old native bug when a faction would siege it´s own faction castle it took just seconds ago - when the AI went insane and decided for a lord on the opposite of the map to besiege beforementioned castle and doesn´t check wether it´s alreaday besieged or not. If the castle´s taken shortly before the new lord can join the siege he´ll besiege his own factions stronghold and fight his fellow brothers

Alaric shouldn´t be much of a threat for your defending troopers though - despite having sobered up and reset his mind on taking a city.

Problem......I choose the "Realistic, no quitting without saving" thing all the time.......

Either save at will, alt-tab out, change the capture rate or simply live with it.

Problem......I choose the "Realistic, no quitting without saving" thing all the time.......

Easy to remedy... Two kinds, one for Proof of Saved game kinda thing, the other for a simple trial.

Method 1.

Save game.
Find Mount and Blade Folder.
Locate Saved Game Folder in Mod Folder.
Copy Saved Game Folder.
Paste Said Folder in My Documents.
Load game.
Let him take the city.
If something sweet happens tell us, if not, tell us anyway.
Close game.
Delete/Store Saved Game Folder located inside Mod Folder.
Cut and Paste Saved Game Folder that is in My Documents and Paste where it should go.
Load game.
Play as normal...

I think that works, did it ages ago and only been playing on the 'Allow me to quit at any time' system, y'know.

Method 2.
Save game.
Load game.
Let him take the city.
If something sweet happens tell us, if not, tell us anyway.
Hit CTRL+ALT+DEL
Force Shutdown Mount and Blade Game.
Load game.
Play as normal.
