AIAS Fellowship/Less time for M&B

Users who are viewing this thread

I don't expect everyone to be super excited about this, as I am, but I just wanted to announce that I'll likely not have all that much time to do modding for M&B for a little while at least.

Recently I was invited for a fellowship with the Alpha Institute for Advanced Study by Prof. Myron W. Evans, AIAS Director. I'll be part of a sub-group doing coding for simulations of the Einstein-Cartan-Evans theories (ECE theory).

I'm devoting all of my free time to research of ECE and FEM/FEA, so I likely won't have that much time to do graphics/HugeMod things. I'm planning to write up a big tutorial and finish the RSF editor (it's *nearly* complete, I have the code running currently in Effidian's editor, but I haven't put in any of the GUI and some kinks need to be worked out) which will let the less technically inclined add/edit items and which textures they use (obviously, you'll still need to edit textures in a graphics program...).

aww! dont leave us lol not know the modding tools are near... lol you pick your moments  good luck tho, mate

Hopefully you'll still have some time to visit the forums.

Anyway, have fun.

Ha, you sure know how to make someone envy you...

Bah, back to programming another boring database app

I still have to do my ****e day job :p It's volunteer work. I'll likely still post from work, but just not as much time to do mods and things from home.

ECE theories are the unified theories of general relativity and quantum mechanics/theory. The concept is usually referred to as Unified Field Theory (or Grand UFT, or in some cases in Evans' work, Generally Covariant UFT, but mainly just UFT for short). I'm extremely reluctant to link to the Wikipedia article, since it's grossly inaccurate. It does however give a general overview of the idea. Remember people, Wikipedia requires a *HUGE* grain of salt to be taken with the information given. Most of it is inaccurate. In fact, you need a proverbial salt lick by your side when you get information from Wikipedia. Make sure to cross check information.

The Evans' equations can derive all equations in physics, and has been mathmatically proven. It's currently accepted worldwide in the scientific community, but hasn't had much general publicity due to various reasons (such as World Scientific having illegally broken their contract to publish Evans' work, among other such unfortunate things. The difficulties in getting the theories out there can be likened to those that Einstein and Planck faced in their times, but the scientific and academic communities have accepted the theories, which of course is most important.)

Cool, of the people I've told (damn, I'm excited about it heh, can't stop talking about) most don't know what I'm referring to. Likely the simulations our sub-group is developing will be used (in part) to help engineering concerns for powering circuits based on ECE spacetime.
