Well after playing this game for about 48 hours straight the most annoying thing I found is that no matter where I am on the battlefield (in the battles, not on the map mode thing) the enemy always knows where I am!  Many times I've wanted so badly to sneak up behind them around a hill but every time I do so they are all looking straight at me.  It would be cool to somehow make the AI not see you when you're behind a hill or something, and then only notice you again once you shoot one of them or land an arrow close to them, or come within some sort of 'hearing distance.'

hehe, i take it you haven't tried fighting sea raiders in the early morning

but, to the point, yes, it would be nice. mabye it could be part of the "AI update" due in the next version.

We still arnt positive there will be an AI update are we, I thought Armagan was against better AI (well maybe not) but at least formations and etc, I thought he wanted to keep the "chaos" of battle in M&B.

But as for the suggestion, I suppose itd be nice. But then itd be kinda tedious when you dont know where the enemy is and the enemy doesnt know where you are, so you both wander around the map for hours on end before combat, or your soldiers at the start wander in aimless directions and fall to the enemy one at a time. Or when you are stuck in a rut and the enemy cant find you and you cant get out so basically your stuck...

um.... no, he stated that he was against formations. he said he was working on better AI. somewherr in the delay thread.

Of course, as a player, you have the same information available to you that the AI does, through the attack arrow, no?

Still, I hate to play with this thing, and wish that the AI didn't have it either. LOS would be great, along with friendly fire, created by lack of vision, rather than misteps by e in front of the archers.
