Sergeant at Arms
Hey guys, what do you think it would be like to have 2-4 other AI players on the map? (that dont act like lords).

It be pretty cool to be raided by a AI player who decided to be a bandit, it at least it gives the game more depth like a small bandit leader who you want to get back at or even be a rival in your trading empire, honestly who could make a £600 profit in every town without being challenged?.
You could even throw em in at the start of the story line saying that "you and him/she/both? went your separate ways.." and it gives you someone to be competitve with all the way through.
Would also be a good start to multilayer in the main game...

anyway i want to know what you guys would think this would be like?

Basically a GARY MOTHER****ING OAK of Calradia?
'Oh, you choose to go for scissor, I choose rock then.'

..No thank you. Neutral lords on the other hand would be cool.

ooh this gives me an interesting idea.... lords without a faction.... or kings without a faction.

I've found that factions without fiefs just die during day 1/2.

I'm not sure if the AI would be aggressive enough to actually capture towns/castles.

neutral lords wouldn't be to different from the lord-ready companions i already made though.

a "rival" does sound kinda fun.

"I choose you, Footman!"
"Well, then I choose Huscarl!"
"Aww ****."

Yeah, I find Kradus and Xerina etc. rather disturbing as they have no life beside sbeatinh up people with wooden crap of all variants.

consider kradus xerina and dranton just... tournament experts. they are amazingly high level (30-40) and serve to provide a rare challenge... and make you lose all your money on a sure thing because those ****ers are so strong.

I've always wanted the claiments to have a random chance of forming a party and starting a revolt.

Least then they might start off with some decent equipment. >.>

The claimants should have a chance of starting there own factions, some have chance of other lords joining and u can join too and it would be cool if we have a multiplayer game of the campaign.

This is a MONSTER bump but:

It would be cool if there were wandering kings/lords without factions that can form new ones and act like "hordes" (attacking cities, think Legion in Sword of Damocles). Also, a chance for claimants to be supported by lords within factions without your assistance. Maybe lords rebelling and forming their own nations (named after the largest fief they control eg. Duchy of Suno).

Kradus became my mount and blade nemesis when I was just about to finish my first tournament...
It was the last stage, 1 on 1 duel, we both had lances, and somehow he got me in the face (even though my lance was couched too)
Needless to say, I reloaded my save and made sure he got eliminated in the first round
