So say you are a liege and your marshall asks you to join the campaign to which you do.  After a while you were asked to scout an area, and here are the questions.

1.  If you take the quest but do not scout it, would the AI resume the original behavior of targetting whatever he was before you were given the task of scouting or would he change into something else, in other words would you neglecting the scout quest affect how the campaign progress go?

2.  If the say you either failed the quest on purpose or neglect the quest long enough, would the AI marshall automatically 'send' someone else and scout the area or it just goes as it goes.

Quests don't really change anything, maybe except scouting - You will be seen by inhabitants which may cause nearby lords to come there and from there to the siege/village(depending where is marshall).

1. If you take the quest but don't scout you will basically fail it and fail the "follow marshall's army quest" - it will penalize you on the relation boosts you get from going to war with the army.

2. No one else is or would be sent, these quests are only for the player !
