I am still seeing this happen I believe more than it should. AI siege a town, they build camp and engines to siege, but then start making catapults knowing (well the current program doesn't tell them) they are almost out of food. Then they start starving, then abandon the siege while they run to another town starving. There needs to be something in the code telling them they are low on food and either go to town or start the siege and not waste time building things like catapults to start starving just to abandon siege.
