Agility Attribute

Hmm...0.5% increase in weapon speed?
Does anyone else think thats slightly measly comapared to another hit point, another party member or an extra skill point (which i might add could be used for anything from a 3 point increase in hp to 10% more damage)

so, 10% more weapon damage, or a 20th of that in weapon speed?

Please make it at least a 1% increase in weapon speed.

Also, could the athletics skill increase th height of jumping aswell?

Those .5% weapon speed will add up pretty nicely after a few levels...add on top that some weapons are quicker than others...

No need to overpower it...

I spend a lot of points on agility, so one might think that I'd welcome an increase from 0.5% to 1% but frankly I don't. All I need is a edge on my opponents and it gives me that.

However, it's worth allowing a player to be able to modify that and probably you can or will be able to adjust stats like that so why not give it a whirl?

I think that it's likely that players will have comically-fast shooting archers like Legolas from LOTR or melee fighters who can literally mow down everyone since they can hit the enemy, disrupting his attack, and hit and hit and hit.

The true test would be how it feels to you but right now, to me, it feels realistic as it is. I hope that we can experiment with this.

Well, I'd suggest these developer team about agile option. Each time you level up with agile, it should automatically upgrade your movement speed by small percent. By choosing athletic option will increase your movement speed about twice or more than of points you gained automatically when leveling up with agiles.

If this game went multiplayer, the person with higher agility would win 80% of the time in melee due to his swing speed and athletics skill. High hp isn't going to stop the other guy's sword from swinging 3 times in one second...

What everyone so conveniently have decided to COMPLETELY ignore is the fact that IF the weapon/movement boosts were increased per agility point that not only YOU but EVERYONE would be affected...

I'm sure that a lot of players would enjoy fighting a horde that slashes in a whirlwind like manner and run faster than horses, right?

That is when they should have an addition features to your own horses, by up leveling your horse, like way you would up level your characters as well. For example, after you have completed your battle, you would upgrade your horse on strength, agile, and abilities to carry the weight of armor you would give to them.

What you guys think of this?

 Hordes slashing like a whirlwind and faster than horses! I don't like the sound of that!

Now I repeat my objection! When I conveniently decided to COMPLETELY ignore that EVERYONE would be affected, I was so...well, I'm not sure. I was against it as the agility increase seemed sufficient already even if it sounded tiny.

I had thought the suggested increase would be like the 0.5% increase is now: the character's reflexes would be increased relative to an initial base speed and only the character would be affected. Now, even though the base speed could be held constant (as it is now) - I am told that the extra 0.5% speed would make all the other combatants race like we were fast-forwarding through a movie. Not cool.

I am against the increase - as I was before.

So being able to advance your ride, athletics and weaponmaster skills isn't good enough? Think the whole thing through, not just pick one some tiny piece and cry about balance problems.

Personally, I think it's good the way it is. With a high Agility attribute you can actually land an attack while your opponent is still swinging, which obviously is a huge advantage.

Maybe the wording was a bit strong, but the last thing I want to see is a swinging nerf bat drastically changing the attributes each patch.
