Age of False Innocence (or AoFI) is a multiplayer-only mod set in the Seven Years' War. It features 10 different factions, several unit types for each faction, and attempts to recreate 18th century combat as closely as possible.

If you have any questions, comments or criticisms, don't hold back.

v1.51:
-- Added bonnets for the highlanders
-- Added a new type of deployable barricade
-- Fixed script error upon startup
-- Fixed pistol error message
-- Fixed pistol sounds
-- Fixed missing Swedish cuirassier horse
-- Greatly improved the deployable barricades

v1.5:
-- Standard-bearers for every faction, along with flags for each faction and three for the clan regiments (Prussian 7th, Swedish 11th, and French 54th)
-- Deployable cheval de frise (anti-cavalry spikes) and sandbag walls
-- Exploding gunpowder barrel scene props!
-- Man new maps
-- Custom horses for each cavalry troop
-- New classes, such as officers and grenadiers
-- All maps have been edited by BattleOfValmy to work better with Polished Landscapes
-- Portugal
-- Many changes to pistols and muskets (mostly to make muskets better than they were before)
-- Pistol sounds can now be heard by everyone on the server
-- Corrected the Russian and Austrian flags (I think? Someone might have to verify that for me)
-- Probably a bunch of other things I forgot
-- Default horses are now free
-- Hair with hats

v1.3:
- Remodeled and rextured every musket/carbine.
- Overhauled item stats.
- Muskets now actually have different speed ratings. So bigger, heavier muskets reload and aim slower, while carbines are lightning fast but inaccurate.
- A few new animations.
- Edited equipment selection screen - first weapon slot = muskets/carbines/pistols, second slot = pistols, third slot = ammunition, fourth slot = sword/ammunition.

v1.2:
- 1.131 compatability
- Remodeled and retextured every uniform, sword and gun
- Re-coded every item
- Heavily edited troops' equipment
- Fixed the crash to desktop whenever playing with Hanover
- Changed the title screen to represent the new items
- Switched the musket melee animations from two-handers to polearms

v1.12:
- 1125 compatibility
- Gave all troops the choice between waistcoats and uniforms
- Completely overhauled the custom battle troops (although they're still unfinished, since I ran out of ideas)
- Added new faction, complete with new flag, uniforms and everything else you'd expect
- You can no longer move while reloading
- Cavalry spawn with horses by default

v1.11:
- 1123 compatibility
- Minor item rebalancing

v1.1:
- Removed French carabinier cuirasses
- Replaced Swedish cuirassiers with adelsfanan cavalry
- Fixed multiple equipment bugs
- Fixed some unbalanced troop stats
- Changed more of the kill icons
- Resized some weapons
- Replaced old musket/pistol sounds with BobSel's sounds
- Balanced equipment loadouts
- Changed British flag to be more historically correct
- Got rid of the half finished cartridge box that shows up in the inventory for large cartridges
- Added smallsword

The Kurassiers' sabres seem too large/long to me, but then again, I know little to nothing about this time period. Very nice work though, I think you've done a grand job.
I cannot wait to see a list of features.

Funny you should mention that sabre being too long, because I completely replaced the model with a shorter one after I took that screenshot.

Models are nice. Textures aren't bad either, but they don't really do any justice to the models.

Lookin fine and dandy there
I'm eager for a list of what features you will implement, and some troop trees

Wow, it looks amazing! compared to the other firearms mods for native m&b, this looks terrifying good!  But perhaps you should size the cavalry sabers down?

I like!

Only thing is, if this is 1750 we're almost in 7 years war period, where uniforms looked more like this:

Alternatively you could go back in time for some simpler uniforms

Yeah, I kinda rushed the textures. But I'll probably go back and redo almost all of them.

Regarding the sabres, see my second post in this thread.

Hey, thanks for the reference pictures. So far the hardest part has been finding references and information for the uniforms, so this will definitely come in handy.

Thanks for the comments, everyone. I'll probably have more screenshots and information up later today.

Hmm the French won. That must be the hardest thing to script because even the computer is like Wtf

French+win= Error

I noticed on your list of factions that Scotland is not included.  You have to Jacobites
Scotland may be included later on; the current list just shows factions that will definitely be included.

Also, I've updated the first post with two new screenshots and a short list of people whose work will be in the mod.

I think they are very cool

but I think a better texture could enhance them even more
