I think the shield should be a bit flatter though. And yes to the Bascinet.

I see what you are saying about the shield but they are always holding it out, like holding it with their hand. when holding it with your fore arm I think it would show the curve.

Still right now my priorities are to first finish the common troops and not the culture

You could give them both the mail coif (which looks great!) and one of those coifed bascinets. I love that armour, btw.

Edit; whoops, missed quite a bunch of posts. I still think the mail coif looks great. Better than that hunk of metal. (The non-mail bascinet.)

no, the guarantee_shield wont work if the troop got no chance to use the shield.

no, the guarantee_shield wont work if the troop got no chance to use the shield.

or you can just make the shield appear on spearmen's clothes
