Is there a way to tell apart grandfathers/grandmothers from one's father's/mother's family? Like when someone says "My grandpa's coming for dinner"...

Swedish is difrent ammong others there is
"morfar" = mothers father
"farfar" = fathers father
"farmor" = fathers mother
"mormor" mothers mother
Thats
"farfar" and "farmor" is the parents of your father(far)
"morfar" and "mormor" is the parents of your mother(mor)

thats like saying fathersfather and mothersmother.

but grandparents is for all your parents parents. so if your grandfather is driving it can be your mothers father or your fathers father. And this is kinda dumb i think but thats just the language i am raised with.

so i am also wondering how you can tell whose grandpa is coming for dinner. Your mothers or your fathers dad?
