After playing m&B, this song just sounds really strange

After playing M&B , the first 30 seconds of

te wu j - jolin tsai (it's on youtube just do a search)

just sounds really strange, almost kinda wrong somehow, I can't really explain it, does anyone else feel this way?

I am aware that it is the same score, (I'm not that tonedeaf that I didn't notice that) , but that was for my part what made the song really strange, cuz I'm sort of used to associating that music with m&B, and it just sounds really weird when you hear it somewhere else. I just wondered if anybody else thought it was REALLY strange to hear the m&b music elsewhere?

It's music that's not specifically made for M&B, so that's why I don't find it odd. I did find it odd hearing the score associated with Harry Potter on 'I was a teenage werewolf', so I do know what you mean. But to my ears, the only wierd part it is the huge difference in quality between that piece and the actual song.

I have not seen that but have you guys listened closely to Mythbusters lately? Everynow and then it plays part of Reluntant hero, and it reminds me too.

I heard the same music while watching a nature program it is very popular backround music. I don't think it is strange just mildly amusing.

Me too. That's why listening to M&B music gives me feelings of nostalgia for .6xx
