After 10 hours of gameplay, safegames do not load. Also the game crashes when starting a new campaign.

Okay so found the way to fix mine. Apparently Bannerlord triggers windows controlled folder access. Disabling it (or allowing bannerlord an exception) fixed all my issues. Hope this helps others.

Ok my problem is that I have avast antivirus so I don't have the windows option in there, it tells me it's Avast manages the options.
i tried disabling avast ransomware option, but doesnt fix my problem :/

I can actually make a new campaign now. So it's basically my save files that are corrupt. if I try to load them, the game crashes, but I can start a new character.
Well we knew it was early access right, can't complain ... ^^

I managed to load an old safegame again. I disabled "protected files" in Bitdefender.

Turning off any Windows protections didn't work, unfortunately. Or I didn't find what exactly I have to turn off.
I don't have any anti-viruses btw.
