Is there a way to disable it or a console command to undo affiliation completely? I've affiliated with a rather large family and I didn't realize this was going to translate into "babysit 6 lords," every time the AI does something stupid I lose 12 relationship points with the lord and ladies. This addition looks like a good idea on the surface, but no offense, the way it works could be overhauled.

So you can talk to the same guy again and un-affiliate, great. Too bad about the feature, could be neat but seems too much of a hassle and adds little imo.

I think the monthly and per-defeat relationship change should be dropped entirely. Instead, you occasionally are called to the clan patriarch (like the marshal calling you) and he gives you a quest related to the family that either grants you relationship with all the clan, or lowers it if you fail. Such as: if any of the clan is imprisoned, you get a "free them" quest, or you may get quests to duel or denounce rivals of the clan, or to escort one of the clan ladies, etc.

This is a great idea

Also do you stay affiliated with a family if you leave a faction?
