Adding troop flags

I was thinking about ways to separate troop types, (infantry from spearmen, or lancers from horse archers), and had a question. Would it be possible to add flags to a troop type? Right now, it's seperated out by mounted, non mounted, and ranged. But if I could add a flag recognizing Polearmed, and mounted-ranged, and change the formation call triggers ( 1 for all, 2 for inf, etc.) to add  5 = Polearms and 6 = Mounted-Ranged, I think we could have a little more control on the battlefield, without radically changing the interface. Keep in mind that I am no coder, modder, and just using the troop editor tries my pea-sized brain, so let's keep any "no" replies civil, ok?

Far as I know, all the flags are hard-coded, so I don't think it's possible.

Wouldn't be necessary anyway, since you can separate troop types by custom groups in Warband (unless you want it badly in 1.011 for some reason).

Figured it would be something like that, or someone would have done it already  .
