I've read the "How to add music to Mount&Blade" random thingy tutorial , but I cannot find the Music.txt file in Data folder  . I wanna add some music from morrowind and oblivion to add some atmoshperic effect , but the thing that I can't find it... It's just ****ing unbearable !

In the game directory go to the Modules folder and open the Native folder. In there you will find the music.txt file.

Thanks. But I added the music (all correctly) and noticed that the default music files have numbers next to them. My custom music doesn't play at all. Does it have something to do with those bloody numbers ?

Yes the numbers are/were important

1, if you want the music to be played in the map mode.
2, if you want it to be played during battles.
3, if you want it to be played in both occasions.

a nice feature..

would i be the first to suggest even finer nuances?

i could imagine individual numbers for
_battles during which you outnumber the enemy easily
_battles during which you are totally outnumbered
_battles at night
_right after having lost a battle
...

I doubt you would be the first, there have been many suggestions on improving the music within M&B. Maybe in 1.0 there is.
