Adding armor to the tailor/blacksmith menus

I added an idea to have an option to dismantle armors with a chance of learning them at the cost of destroying the armor at blacksmiths and tailor.  If this isn't an idea you'd like to implement; I was curious if there was a simple text edit I could do to include armors into their menus.  For instance; I'm a sucker for the crusader/templar armors and was hoping to include them in the blacksmith/tailor menus.

I really like the idea! But for now my focus is really on bug fixing, polishing and refining the mod.
The crusade armour can be bought upon entering a crusade camp. There's a menu. Though you can't craft these, unless you edit the files.
Is there a way to change the item order with the item editor? To place one item somewhere else in the code?

If you're asking about the txt file for itemkinds, you can just copy an item's entry and paste it in between other items. It gets tricky though because every unit's inventory is based on the numbers, not names, so if you take, for example, itm 842 and make it itm 50, everything shifts and all the unit's end up screwed.
One solution I've found is to simply replace an unused item in the list with one that I want units to be able to use, them call that number in the troops file for their inventories, but I don't think that will work as well when you call for all items between a start item and an end item.

As far as programs designed to change itemkinds, I don't think Morgh's will let you change the order at default.

Not sure if that won't result in a CTD. If it works, retrieve the items you want to be available at the blacksmith and paste it below 'pistolier_armor_04'. Start a new game to make it work.

To fix any mismatch between units you'll have to go through each unit individually and change the item numbers one at a time. It's incredibly time consuming and tedious, so the real question is whether it's worth it for you. I only tend to edit the files directly when there's a problem: For example, in Nova Aetas changing horse stats is hit-or-miss through Morgh's, so I go through by hand to change them. Same thing if I'm changing models/etc.; for most mods, as long as you know the basic syntax, it's actually safer to edit it through the files directly.

No, I was hoping that there were list variables containing item numbers that I could just add too.  For instance I was hoping that there was a list of item numbers for blacksmith in either menues or scripts.txt.  I would proceed to find the numbers for the crusade and templar armies and just add them into the list.  I'm assuming it is not going to be that simple like it is to just add items into itemkinds file.

The blacksmith picks a range of items from item xx to item 'pistolier_armor_04'. If you manage to put the items below this one, you'll see them at the blacksmith.

Oooh, I see, thank you.
