Adding a musket with a bayonet in WFaS

Hello! I am quite new to modding and decided to make my own small modification for WFAS. I replaced the original meshes of a musket with the ones of a musket from Napoleonic wars DLC. Then I modified the melee stats of the musket putting only thrust cut damage and changing a few flags like removing "offset musket" and "has bayonet" and adding new ones as "is pike" and "overswing spear". I edited the troops text file, removing the melee equipment. My idea is that the troops would use only their muskets switching from ranged to melee and using the bayonets.

However, after starting a new game I noticed that these troops in question don't fight in melee at all. When ordered to use melee weapons they still fire and aim. The interesting thing though is that when I encountered bandits some of them had only handmade firearms and they used them as a melee when they came close while my own soldiers were just aiming and walking forward to the enemy when set to charge with melee weapons.

Do I have to change some script or code to make this idea to work or I just missed something in the item edit? Thank you in advance!

P.S.: I am using Morgh's editor.

Setting your own soldiers to melee while they are only equipped with bullets(I assume)and a musket that can be used for both in range and melee is normal even if they are still shooting with setting to melee only unless, they have swords but refuse to use their swords even when set to melee or if they are seen aiming their muskets EVEN if the enemy is right in-front of them.

But if you REALLY want them to use their bayonets more often then I would suggest(but not recommend)to set them to "Hold your fire"

P.S.: I too use Morgh's Editor.
