Added faction mods don't work (for 2 mods i've now tried using F&S)

So I've tried playing the enhanced mod of which possessively adds the English commonwealth. But all it does is show that the leader is me alone and after a couple if ingame days it disbands randomly. I tried playing End of Era 30 years war mod and the same thing happened... the French, Spanish and the rest of the added factions had me as a leader and no settlements or troops at all. Am i doing something wrong here? I've never had issues with warband mods.
