Add a 3 second timer to the tournament to help with reaction time when starting a fight

When going through tournaments sometime you get placed in positions where your not sure which enemy is attacking you or you get placed in a 2v2 and your partner runs off immediately to go fight and it results in a 2v1 for the first second because you need to start moving based on your reaction time.

My suggestion is to incorporate a 3 second timer where you can look around and plan and maybe go through your weapons to know what you were given.
However do not allow for bow users to start aiming until the match actually starts.
 
This could even be used to distinguish the cultures by giving them a different "bell". Empire could use a trumpet (as the Roman arenas did going by some quick checks), the Khans could use a gong, the Battanians a bagpipe, and the Sturgians a signal horn (no idea on the other two).

Edit: I should clarify I'm in favor of a delay more for loading/pop in avoidance than anything.

But they are not your troops, why would they listen to your orders?
I understand this was in warband but that doesn't mean its good to keep when improving the game.
 
It would be possible to assign some maximum level that will accept commands based on reputation and leadership while being automatic for allied companions, but that seems overly complicated.
