Actually, how can I know when there is a new patch release?

When I started the game, it will not tell you that there is an update
I visited tale worlds website, not announcement will be made to tell you that there is an update.
no e-mail will inform you when there is an update.

I know there is a patch last time just because I join game in multiplayer and it said that the version of my game is not updated.

Is there any way I will know if there is a new patch?

only way really is to keep an eye on the "most current version" bit of info on the taleworlds website when you go to download the game, it tells you what version is current.

There seems to be no announcement system yet, probably because all the patches are comming out so fast.
