Activation/DRM and Multi

Hello !
i have some questions before buying the Warband version of M&B :
1- what is DRM for M&B warband ?
2- how many activation can we're doing with a serial key
3- are the mods working with warband or some mods will planned to work with multiplayer ?
4- can we create lan server ?

1. If you buy from Steam, I think it will use only Steam DRM. Other versions have same the DRM as Mount and Blade. You must activate the game to get full version. You can activate your game 3 times in a month after the month you can get 3 activations back.

There are already mods for Warband.
On server browser you will see them under Game Type; Hunt and Invasion are the ones hosted right now.

it's a dedicated software to host game in lan or the game itself could host lan game ?
and what network port we need open ?
lan game working with hamachi ?
for activation, when you say 3 times, this could be on 3 different computers ? or 3 times on the same computer ?

In a month you can activate your game on 3 different computers.

You can activate the first Mountn Blade on 2 PCs you own. But there is a multiplayer option for Warband so i am guessing it will be only 1 PC at a time.

Mods are not official so you can change it all you want and host it IF the mod maker gives you permission.
Game itself can host LAN games.
Dunno about ports or Hamachi; we will probably get more documentation with the release of the game.

Well... with the beta, there's no problem installing it on multiple computers, you just can't play multiplayer with the same serial key as someone else (or, if you do manage it, you constantly disconnect).

Guessing it will be the same, and I doubt LAN games will be affected by this.

" I would but it seems pointless to start a new topic to ask the same question...never understood that rule anyway. all it does is make extra copies of the same thread because it happened to be old. and the extra copy usually has the op linking and referring to the old one ect which is even more senseless.

is that "three activations in a month and after that you can get three more" thing automatic or would I have to email support if I use up my activations and down the line replace my computer and need to reinstall?

And/or does that mean I'd never need to get my key reset if I only reinstall it once every couple years even if I did so lets say 5 times?
