You know, abbreviating terms for uncommon medical procedures doesn't seem a good way to express information. I assume from your statement that this is how it is commonly refered to.

As to the way you phrased your initial post (anyone who hasn't is a moron?), and your reaction to anyone not having heard of this, I would suggest not treating people like this. It will not get you far in life.
