Thank you for finally doing this. I really fail to see why some people are bothered by this. If the only god damn thing you can post is an arrow, then dont post. The admins are not going to just randomly ban people either. They will and do send you warning. Look at what Raneman got away with, thats proof that they try to work with you.

That's a peculiar thing to say when the rule says no saying "I agree". 
But again as I've said, Janus's example is fine, I was just explaining why "people" (me) were getting bothered by it.

Because it's a rubbish thing to say in a conversation. If you said "I agree because xyz", fine. "I agree becuase xyz, however xyz" is even better. You might as well ahve a poll if all you're going to write is "I agree".

Yes but since were posts monitored for quality? Only 60-70% of the posts would be on the forum then. 
Sometimes there's just nothing more to say, but the thread shouldn't sink, i.e. good suggestions.
But again, when it was clarified, it's a perfectly understandable rule.

Does this really bother you that much? We were told to not do it, if you do there will be consequences. Over all nothing has really changed.

I think this forum is pretty good on post quality. I was on the total war forums the other day and I was shocked at the amount of drivel I had to trawl through to find a point. I think I saw a post which read "That was a pointless post" and that was all they had to say on the matter!
