About trading

Recently I can't play any game but this and I registered only to write in this forum.
This mod rocks. woohoo!

On to the topic, is there any tip for trading? I know I can buy alchols from USA and sell them to Indians
but I hope I could find more things to trade. I tried using trade skill on suppliers but looks like it's a bit gliched at the moment.

English is not my first language so there maybe mistakes sorry!

you can try buying mining equipment for about 4$ and sell it for about 6$ (in bishop's lodge for example)
or you could visit the villages, they have sometimes some goods for a very low price (beef for 13cents).

The most time consuming and difficult method of trading is to go to villages, by stuff there, and then sell it in cities for good profit. But it provides the highest profit per item.

Apart from that, you can buy things very cheaply by killing their owners.

Easier just to jump some bandits and sell their weapons.
Make more then trading beef or other stuff

I was actually referring to caravans, generals and the occasional stagecoach...but yeah, bandits probably work, too
