About tournaments in Zendar

I was level 7 and several hundreds of points left to level 8. I was winning nearly every combat in tournament. Then i got level 8 and after that suddenly the ennemies in the tournament got insanely powerful. I couldn't beat them as easily as before. I don't know if this is true but i think the difficulty of ennemies in tournament increases parallely to your level. When you level up they also level up.

So conlusion: if it is true, the best time to bed on you in tournament is nearly the end of your level, let say some several hundreds points left to next level. So you can win big money by bedding on you to 200-500 denars in tournament.
Did any of you notice the same thing?

You might be fighting a harder group of opponents. Say at lower level, 1-4 or so, you were fighting Regular fighters, 4-6 were Veterans, 7-Up are Champions.

But as with all things, practice makes perfect. The more tournaments you do, the easier you will kick the crap out of everyone by yourself. Unless your a foot archer. <_<

What a about foot archers? You can win with footarcher, just run like an idiot an kill them before they come close

Thats what I mean. 90 times out of 91, Ill get wanked by a sheilded guy that runs way faster then I can, then couched by the last remaining horseman because my other two "friendlies" cant swing their swords block and ride a horse correctly.

Now that last 1 of 91.. Ill get lucky and shoot the guy as hes swinging into his eye and knock him out, swing around, shoot out the horse, and end up sticking one in his eye. Then all is good.

Id rather be a horsed archer though, then I would a foot archer. Odds seem better and if I run out of arrows, can always charge until they are knocked out.

if your a foot archer and theres horsemen on your team, just issue the dismount order and grab a horsey

The situation that i hate is when both you and the last remaining enemy are lancers on horseback. Neither of you can get in a position where you can charge at the enemy long enough to do couched lance damage.

If you are a footarcher against shield guys, GET IN THEIR FACE! Have your arrow ready and just hold it till they start to swing. BAM headshot for 19 or whatever. Then immediately start to pull another arrow. Since the AI is mostly designed (as I see it) to not allow consecutive hits, they'll put their shields up. Then you just repeat as necessary till they are knocked unconscious. That's how I do it anyway although it's still not a guarntee since a couched lance to the back of the head from the guy you weren't watching defeats this strategy pretty well.

As for your strategy (the wanking plan), um, that might be more... uh, satisfyin... you know I'm just gonna end this before something stupid blurts out... dammit.

I find it easier being a foot archer for he above stated reasons. What I suck in is sword and shield ... as for getting wanked... err... I would be shocked if someone could wank my female hunter

I am never good being archers during torunaments. Shame! But I never play tornaments after level 4 or so. "Real world" is more fun.

After the first game I decided not to join tournaments. The best way is to sell everything you have at start ,then buy throwing knives and go hunting river pirates. It's interesting and gives more EXP points.
