there is mentioned that this is no fantasy with magic....what about the undead armies, are they just a test or placeholder or is this point in change in future versions?

also i´m somewhat suspecious about cannon weapons. i got one from a hero (i think marnid) and now in sieges i can fire at the defenders and kill dozends of them on my own.
is there a way to reduce the area of effect of cannons or the damage?
it just seems a bit overpowered to me.

 
1.  The Undead got put in purely for whimsy, because I did the technical work to make them and the undead horse work, and I hate working on stuff I don't use  :lol:  They currently don't behave in any fantastic ways, and are just a different flavor of bandit, from a game-design perspective.  IDK whether I'll want to slant that way or not in the future; a lot of people really like the Undead and would like to see them become more important, so it's arguable either way.

2.  The only way to change Cannon behavior is through working with the source code; they're fairly complicated.  If you aren't a coder and aren't familiar with Module System, there isn't much you can do.  Their balance is always under review; atm I'd say they're balanced for their intended purposes and killing dozens of guys with one shot isn't a big deal- the way the mod's structured, it's just not that important.

about cannons: good to hear, i already felt kind of cheating but if it´s seen to be balance with the current mod all is fine  :grin:

You'll wish cannons had a bigger blast radius when you happen to collide with a marshal party.
