I don't think they are over balanced. I think the reward is fit for what you have to go through. The king wanted 6 saddle horses, took a good 30 minutes of running around and buying them for about 3k total, then getting a 10k reward, considering how much stuff costs at this level I think its fine the way it is.

I know Armagan agreed to lower the reward but I don't think it should be.

Erm... You think you should gain 7000 gold in 30 minutes? There wasn't even a risk involved, unless you decided to run headlong into a group of bandits!

I collected my first 10,000 or so in the arena... It took a while.

Comparing to all the other quests or ways to make money in the game, military quests are much too well paid. Heck, you gain only 200-400 for escorting a caravan halfway across the map. You get that much for a few prisoners.

"I collected my first 10,000 or so in the arena... It took a while. "

Good lord I bet it did.

I do think the quest rewards needa little tweaking, your point about the caravan escort is a good one... risky, takes a lot of time, very little reward vrs. collecting some boots or horses for a massive profit is a little unbalanced.

Well, if one doesn't have the money to collect the supply items... he has to fight groups of enemy in order to gain that money... so, in the end, it IS risky. I think.

Well, if you happen to have the money, you can multiply it using supply quests super-fast and completely safe. It makes trading obsolete. So, Armagan is correct in his desire to nerf them.

I was never good in trading, i always focused on using a blade in such a way others provide me with what i want...

So well, perhaps yes, i make some kind of trade... i let them keep their lives, they give me money.

This from merchants, nobles, and somesuch.

Paesants and refugees... they're all my protects. Poor souls. And well... sword sisters ARE a kick-ass unit

Its just by the time I was able to afford to do these quests, and strong enough to go to some of the places needed, I was around 10. Also you only make about 7k profit, which is chump change at my level. When weapons and armor are 20-30k+ I see the reward fit for what you go through.

If it does get an overhaul hopefully its not lowered too much.

Ok now that i've done the Boar Spear supply quest and recieved 19,000 gold for competing it, while only spending about 1,600 gold on each spear(needed 5) I think its a tad overbalanced in some areas. So my conclusion is some of them are too rewarding while the others are just fine.

Escorting caravans especially.

"Hmm. Let me get this straight. You want me to dodge past countless enemy patrols and war parties, molly-coddling your traders when they keep running away from enemies that are running away from me, and escort them deep into enemy territory on the other side of a warring country, yes? And then you'll pay me 390 fecking denars? Are you insane?"

That's why I've never escorted a single caravan. And it's a prereq for better missions... *pout*. Well, I guess I gotta try it once, just to see better missions.
