Hi, in the FAQ they say that you got a chance to get a qualis in the first redbrother hood hideout, i saw lots of those troup but never saw any of their hideout in more the 350 days (in game).

Is that hideout spawn with a map? or maybe some1 could help me finding the spot where they normaly spawn. Cause their troops seems to spawn more near revenster territory but the only hideout ive found there was the mystmountain

Looks like you've just been really unlucky, I think that the 'Go find this hideout and destroy it' quests may spawn a hideout, though they may just use a preexisting one.

The best way to find a hideout is to examine the patrolls, they don't go too horribly far from the hideout say that, for example, you've found one patroll around village A, and another around village B, and a third around castle C, and the locations on a map happen to form a triangle, or can be seen as points on a circle, then you should go to the center of that shape and search around there.

Remember to look for bandits that are 'Patrolling around hideout' (Or campsite, or whatever), bandits chasing after random parties are not very good indicators, also remember that if the bandits chase or get chased by something a long distance, they will, once finished with that, immediately resume the status of Patrolling (can't remember, they may go to travelling for awhile, but still this should be true) , but won't necessarily be near the hideout, so if you track them, they should head for their hideout for awhile before going back to their normal routine. I'm not exactly sure on the last bit, I haven't tried that, usually I spot a few parties and then go to wherever their center would be.

I've always assumed that the bandits patroll a roughly spherical area a certain distance from the hideout, and it's worked well for me.

Hope this helps, now run them down!

Sorry buddy but it's actually totally random...

When you start the quest you will be told that the RBH hideout will be next to a certain village, which they will specify.

Now it more than likely is still somewhere on the map. I don't know if this particular hideout can be raided by NPC armies. If that is the case, you may want to cheat and find the location on the map by unveiling the fog of war and simply searching the map. And if you are opposted to using cheats, in this case you were told of the location but overlooked it, therefore you're entitled to this one cheat at least

Oh I apologize - I totally misread the post.

You have to go to the taverns in cities and ask for rumors. Eventually you will be given a tip that a RBH hideout does contain a Qualis gem. That's where you start looking.Otherwise it's impossible to find a Qualis gem in a RBH hideout.

Hope that helps

ok, so the first one that possibly give a qualis gem will happear with the quest in tavern !!!!  Good to know, thanks guys. im gonna look for this

Yeah and you will need to search for the chest after successfully killing all bandits in hideout(Qualis gem dont appear as loot from them). The chest is normally to the northern cave.

Garrison all troop in castle go to them and let them cazpture u. Then before u realesed they should return to the hideout at least oun ce if not try again usaully works for me beetween 1-4 repitions

there is  misunderstanding. some of you are talking about the automatically spawning brigand/mystmountain/snake cult/dshar raider/vanskerry lairs. these just spawn and stay hidden until you find them, be it by chance or by systematic search.

the red brotherhood hideouts however do not act as lairs for the red brotherhood raiding parties (those spawn at cities, therefore often named "red brotherhood from ...") and onyl spawn when you buy a treasure map for them in a tavern (similar to the treasure maps in rane or valonbray). finding them is not difficult as you get a notification around which village to look for them and they are discovered if you as soon as you enter a relatively large area around them.
