So I couldnt really find another place to open this;

Can I edit the castle name from strings.txt for example lazslobourg castle and rename it to something else? Is it possible?

I think it might be possible in theory since you can change the name of the map using that method too but then I also wonder why did vornne add 63 different name slots for the mod? For people who couldn't just edit strings.txt?

Basically you can change the names on your end but that is all. the name slots are so that scene makers can have their castle name's added in and not have to overwrite other names which may bugger up other scenes.

To expand on the last reply: you can change strings.txt on your client, and only you will see the different name; you can change it on a server and nothing visible will be affected; so the only way for a new castle name to work properly is to submit it for inclusion in a new release which all players download.

There are only 128 possible names in total, so requested names must be for a completed,  playable, tested scene.

Scene names are a special case: the warband engine has a hard coded feature to display the string in the server list (which doesn't change anything else, such as the scene poll presentation).
