Hi all,

Wow, that s the best game and module i ve played for the moment ! I really love it ! But, something seems strange and i wanted to ask about it :
When you become a sovereign and have your own kingdom, have you seen that your relations with towns and villages are always going down ? I ve built school and festivals but they continue becoming angry against me ! Don t know how to please them !
Ok, when i successfully complete quest, they like me a little more but it s just for a few days !

Can you explain me how to increase my relations or is that problem something like a bug ?

They're growing discontent. To stop them from rebelling against you, you can award them to Lords.

Eventually, when you can raise or lower tax rates and perform other governmental functions, you can change the rate of decreasing relations. I'd have to check, but if it's possible to check if the player is defeated in battle or wins, which it should be since Lords will say things about your battles, we might also increase or decrease based on whether you've won or lost recent battles.

Thanks for your answer !
So it eems there s no way for the moment to increase our relation with towns/villages ! That s a pity !
I really don t want to give them to a lord ^^

Just one other question : i have a chamberlain, a spymaster, civics advisor, etc...

Is there any other controls that doesn t need other people i can use to take care of my kingdom ?
For example, if i want to start a campaign, i HAVE TO meet a lord or a vassal and ask him to launch the campaign ! That s sssssoooo bad ! Can t we have something like a key on our keyboard or in our kingdom s capital to manage all of that ?
For example, we could manage the taxes rate, the troops, the patrols, lords, wars, campaigns, etc... That would be SO usefull ^^

I find it best to keep just a few properties and farm the villages and stuff out to Lords. At the moment I've got one town, 2 castles and 3 villages.
The castles are basically just my beach-head into the territory I'm attacking and the villages are the ones I have the best relationship with.

Any more than that and I take a relation hit with the villages. Which is no good when you need to recruit.

Best advice is to give fiefs to your companions rather than lords, they won't get shirty and demand stuff you can't give them. I do have two lords who I use mainly for babysitting less well-garrisoned castles. They both have 2 castles each, so they're well happy.

That s what i m doing now !
Giving all my castles to lords and all my villages and cities to companions

BUT... i can t collect taxes by this way and that s a pity because i need money sometimes ^^
in addition, i love to upgrade towns, villages and castles and i cant when i ve given them...

If you have hired a Logistician, he will tell you what can be upgraded, even if you don't own it directly.

Best way to raise money is through loot. Roaming mercenaries have some great swords and armour and you'll be keeping your troops morale up, at the same time levelling them up as well.
