He is sick good - definitely at a Master level when it comes to art and drawing. They are beyond stunningly beautiful

Very, very nice. I love the dark, rough around the edges theme.

Ganbat really is an amazing artist, definitely worth the necro.

Ganbat's work kicks serious ass. Each one of his drawings succeeds in the purpose of art - to invoke an emotion from the viewer/reader. His is a seriously talented artist.

Too ****ing true.

One of his most evocative works is the mail clad knight carrying the female warrior away from the battle.

You are talking about my avatar picture ? hehe

My favourite pic is this one : ( I use it as my wallpaper since 2 years i think. )

Look like a Swadian Knight/Lord escorting a lady ...

I wish someone could model this armour in the game

Woah! Mr Badamkhand sure knows his stuff!

And now that I can get to speak to some one from Mongolia, I have a question.

Is Chagatay Turkic still spoken in Mongolia? My language, Urdu, has partial Chagatay roots since it was developed in the courts of the Mughal Rulers of India who were native Chagatay speakers at some point in time.

Oh and is the name Badamkhand named after your ancestral town? Like Badam (almond) and Khand (place). Khand was a term used by Tolkien as well.

The knight looks pissed off at all the nagging and demotion to escort duty.

And I don't think it's that one, the one the other guy's talking about seems to be the one that features a knight in a great helm with maille and talberd carrying a smallish looking person with maille also.

Definetly the kidnapped girl quest

I would agree with that...Looks to me as if the rescuer is a bit weary from the battle after he slaughtered
all those bandits that kidnapped the girl.

And yes Mr Badamkhand is true master!

Sweet Lord, I love that picture!
The first time I saw this image, it soothed the bitterness of my defeat. I stared at the screen for at least 5 minutes.

Every picture from Banbat seem alive... and i think it`s the goal a picture. To let your imagination figure what will be going on... And Ganbat is awesome at that. Every picture i have seen from him make my imagination create lots of possibility on what can possibly happen...

His art is absolutely fantastic. They're drawn so very simply, but still convey a huge amount of emotion and skill. Certainly a lot better than the high-price/low-quality abstract art that there's far too much of nowadays.

I'd love to buy poster/s of the horse archers shooting (pic_mb_warrior_4.dds and pic_horse_archers.dds), and I'm sure many others would too.

I hope Ganbat realizes how pwn he is.  I mean, I am sure he does on some level, but it's an awesome feeling when you know you inspire other people with something you made.  I sincerely hope he feels that.  May be seeing this topic would help with that.  Can anybody point him to it?

One thing to note, his style seems incredibly unique to me.  I have never ever seen anybody draw anything remotely similar to this.  Did he invent his own style?  I mean, I am no art student by any degree, but I have not seen such brushwork (is it even a brush?.. I have no clue what he uses to draw) anywhere else in my entire life.  How do you learn something like that?  Or is this simply testament to Ganbat's epic skill and talant?  I guess I am interested in how he came to use the style that he does now.
