What I like about these pictures is that you could believe it was actually happening with real people on real horses; I don't like the current fad for dungeonpunk and anime where everyone has giant shoulder pads on their armour and carries a sword that would weigh about 500kg. Ganbat's style is well suited to M&B sense of realism.

How did you and Taleworlds get together? Were you already a fan of the game first or did Armagan discover you and make the proposal?
 
Ganbat's work kicks serious ass. Each one of his drawings succeeds in the purpose of art - to invoke an emotion from the viewer/reader. His is a seriously talented artist.

Too ****ing true.

One of his most evocative works is the mail clad knight carrying the female warrior away from the battle.
